Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 : Brings Tons of Amazing Features

Samsung is known for its innovations and advancements, and the same is true with Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3. It brings astounding novelties both in terms of use and product aesthetics. Let’s have a look at some of its key specs in more detail.

Solid Built, Durable and Waterproof

Before discussing the internals, it will be prudent to highlight its build quality. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 does not attempt to deviate much from its predecessor, the Z fold 2. While the Z Fold 2 came with some major improvement over the first-generation foldable phones, Z Fold 3 further refines the concept and improves key details. Besides, waterproof capability further adds to its glitter, and we can safely assume it to be the first waterproof foldable smartphone.

The durability is further improved with the use of a resistant aluminum frame paired with Gorilla Glass Victus that offers high resistance against breakage. In short, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 offers a solid build, and users will much appreciate its durability.

Amazing Technical Specifications

The new Fold 3 three has a dual 2X Dynamic AMOLED display, both of which support a 120 Hz refresh rate. The external display has a diagonal of 6.2 inches and a resolution of 832 x 2260 px. A standard 10 MP camera is punch drilled inside the screen. The internal screen has dimensions – 7.6 inches diagonally and a resolution of 1,768 x 2,208 px. While it’s slightly thinner than its predecessor when folded, it still remains quite thick – 16 mm on the hinge side and 14 mm on the outer edges. Moreover, the phone remains quite bulky, with a weight of about 271 grams. However, that’s a slight improvement over its predecessors.

Moving further, The Galaxy Z Fold3 5G will be powered by the Snapdragon 888. Likewise, the chipset will be paired with 12 GB of RAM and 256 or 512 GB of storage; however, there is no option to expand the storage.
